    Square Stitched (Knife-Edge / No-Piping)

    The majority of our Cushions are offered in this style as it has a modern aesthetic - relaxed, and seamless. They are unfussy and blend perfectly into classic, minimalist or contemporary décors.

    Because there is no rigid cord or piping running along the edges, the sides are softer and more flexible for "chopping" and more comfortable for leaning against.

  • Piped (Corded Edges)

    This style of cushion is considered more formal. This aesthetic is sculptural, and refined. Piping gives the cushion a clear, well-defined silhouette.

    The piping can be made using matching fabric (self-piped) for a monolithic look, or a contrasting fabric to make the cushion pop.

    The piping or cord adds reinforcement to the seams, making it a highly durable option for heavy-use seating.

  • Flanged Cushions (border detailing)

    Flanged cushions feature a flat border (or flap) which extends beyond the central seam. The aesthetic is classic, elegant, and timeless. They offer a soft, unstructured, "lived-in" elegance often associated with traditional or coastal styled interiors.

    The border/flap can be made from the same fabric as the cushion (self-flanged) or a contrasting fabric.

  • Embellished Cushions

    This style of cushion includes add-ons like trims, braids, fringes and tassels. The aesthetic is highly decorative and eye-catching. They serve as a focal point and add tactile variety to your decor.

    There is a vast array of trimmings available (subtle to opulent). We are happy to make recommendations on styles, colours etc to coordinate with your chosen fabric.
